It´s raining Light
"It's Raining Light" is a light installation composed of (at least) nine umbrellas that hang upside down and display different light patterns, sometimes behaving as a group and sometimes individually. The installation can be set up in interior spaces, natural environments such as parks and streets, and other locations. The configuration is highly flexible and adaptable, and it is also reasonably easy to produce additional pieces to scale the installation to a larger size.
Light and rain are quiet companions, meeting in midair to weave fleeting moments of color. As droplets fall, they catch the light, bending and breaking it into unseen spectrums, revealing hues that would otherwise remain hidden. Each drop becomes a tiny world, a prism where sunlight lingers for a heartbeat before vanishing. The sky, once heavy with grey, transforms into a canvas of iridescent whispers—soft golds, deep blues, fleeting violets. In their meeting, light does not resist the rain; instead, it moves through it, allowing color to emerge, to shimmer, to disappear. It is a conversation without words, a silent symphony of refraction and release.
A beautiful soundtrack can be included to enhance the experience— a soundscape featuring atmospheric sounds and digitally modified droplet effects.

All our installations are waterproof and have been tested in the austrian forests during winter under rough weather conditions. Every setup can work "stand-alone" or be controlled in real-time via DMX / ARTNET if requested.
